Members of the Slavic Learner Corpus Research Group (SLCR) participated in the Learner Corpus Research Conference 2026, held at Charles University in Prague on 16–19 September 2026.

Pavlína Vališová and Andrea Hudousková, together with Agnieszka Leńko-Szymańska, Alexandr Rosen and Elżbieta Kaczmarska-Zglejszewska, presented The acquisition of Czech clitics by speakers of typologically related languages – a learner-corpus study, focusing on the acquisition of Czech clitics using learner corpus data.

Andrea Hudousková also presented Verb Valency Patterns in L2 Czech across Proficiency Levels: Evidence from the CzeSL-SGT Learner Corpus, exploring verb valency in learner Czech across different proficiency levels.

The head of our research group, Adrian Zasina, presented the poster Generative AI as a Tool for Corpus-Based Exercise Design.

Slavic learner corpora were also represented at the pre-conference workshop Building and Using Learner Corpora in TEITOK, where CzeSL (Czech), CroLTeC (Croatian), and PoLKo (Polish)featured among the learner corpora presented and discussed.

LCR 2026 provided a valuable opportunity to present our research, exchange ideas and experience, and meet colleagues from the international learner corpus research community.
